Optional analytics
Optional analytics is off unless you allow it.
Essential site and account functions remain available with either choice. A browser privacy signal can keep optional analytics off.
Your preference applies to this browser and site for up to 180 days. Changing devices, clearing storage or using a different browser can require a new choice. The site does not load the Google tag before an affirmative choice. Read the Privacy Policy for provider and data details.
Storage and cookies by purpose
| Purpose | Examples | Control and duration |
|---|---|---|
| Chosen trip tools | Saved waters, notes, collections, snapshots, home water, display and watch preferences | Browser storage; persists until changed, removed or cleared by the browser. |
| Account access | Supabase authentication session and recovery state | Sign out to end the current session; browser and provider session settings also apply. |
| Offline and source responses | Service-worker assets and dated condition responses | Browser caches; may be replaced or removed. Dates still matter. |
| Privacy preference | Whether optional analytics was allowed, with a preference date | Up to 180 days in this browser; change it above. |
| Optional analytics | Google Analytics identifiers such as _ga cookies | Only after permission; Google and browser settings affect duration. Essential-only removes accessible first-party Analytics cookies. |
GPC, Do Not Track and prior collection
This version treats Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track as reasons to suppress optional Google Analytics. These signals do not delete an account, erase previous records or prevent essential hosting, security, authentication or source-data requests. We do not currently sell private account records or intentionally share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Withdrawing a choice stops collection through the current integration going forward. If the Google tag was loaded, the page reloads to remove it. It cannot recall data already sent or copies held by other people. Contact us about a rights request relating to prior records.
Local saves and sign-out are different
Review and remove individual notes or saves in the relevant tool. Browser site-data settings can clear all local storage and offline caches; save a copy of anything you want to keep first. This can remove device saves and sign you out, but does not by itself delete a cloud account, previously submitted report or email. Signing out alone does not erase device-local notes.
Cloud records, reports and meetup links
Use the account screen carefully when choosing cloud-save or cloud-load direction. Cancel your own active meetup links through their tool. For access, correction, report removal, account deletion or other privacy requests, email contact@floridafishandwater.com. Verification and applicable exceptions may apply.
