Accessibility & Support
Help using the guide and a direct way to report a barrier.
Last updated November 4, 2026
Our approach
We aim to make the guide usable with clear headings, labeled controls, keyboard operation, readable layouts and text alternatives where appropriate. Maps, charts, older pages, external documents and third-party tools can present barriers. This statement is not a claim of audited WCAG certification or that every feature works with every device or assistive technology.
Ways to use the information
Use the Waters directory as an alternative to selecting map pins. Conditions include source labels and text readings alongside visual displays where available. Forecast audio is optional; the underlying forecast text remains available. Browser zoom and device accessibility settings may help. Do not depend on audio alone for safety warnings.
Report a barrier or request another format
Email contact@floridafishandwater.com with the affected page URL, the task you were trying to complete and the device, browser or assistive technology if you wish. Avoid sending sensitive health information or a password. We will review the issue and discuss a practical way to provide the information or help you complete the task. Urgent safety needs should go to the responsible authority or emergency services.
Outside resources
Linked agency sites, PDFs, maps and provider interfaces are controlled by their operators. We can help identify an original source, but cannot promise to change those services. Report a broken or inaccessible source link so we can look for a useful alternative.
